Following My Grandmother’s Footsteps

Lu sketching in Europe, location unknown.

My grandmother Lu shared her love for sketching with me when I was very young. Teaching people to be curious and create what they want to see was a passion of hers. Therefore, following in her footsteps feels like I’m sharing her joy for drawing and painting with you!

  • I am very excited to design, produce and share online, self-paced watercolor sketching lessons with you. If this is your first time taking one of my classes, here’s a few helpful things to know before you sign-up:

  • I want you to have fun.

  • I don’t want you to feel like you need to have all the art supplies.

  • A few basic items from your local craft/art store will get you started (this blog post provides a list of the supplies I use and teach with).

  • It’s ok to make mistakes!
